Tyler Walker explains why he is down in North Carolina and talks about his Pa. plans for 2018.

We got lucky again on Monday and got more done that I expected so we are able to give you an extra voice track today. That bonus track is the one we showcase first today as we meet a first time indoor race winner who won in the first A-Main he qualified for. What a story huh? Listen to it and I know you’ll like it.

I’ll be off today as once again I have a bunch of non-racing stuff to do this afternoon before bowling tonight as we hope to bowl well and hold on to first place in the second half of our league. My 82 year old dad has been bowling very well and had a pair of 200+ games last week. Let’s hope our hot streak continues tonight.

Now let’s chat more about what we have on the Audio Page today beginning with a young man who just did something he had never done before. Anthony Payne talks about his first indoor win ever this past weekend in Albany, described how he worked his way up from 24th as well as how he went from 3rd to 1st on a late restart. Nice one here guys!

Tyler Walker explains why he is down in North Carolina right now, thinks back on this past season and talks about his plans to run more in Pennsylvania this season.

Ah…racing is almost all the way back.

Today I will be back in the studio and already have a few things lined up. I’ll be writing as well and will have lots of things to reference in Tuesday’s article. Out Modifieds hit the track at Volusia this week as well so there will be lots to talk about and analyze later.

Kevin Bates talks about his championship season and runs down his race plans for this season.
Tony Veneziano previews the coming season with the World of Outlaws as they begin races tonight.

The snow continues here in Central New York as does the jealousy I fell for all of you who are down in warmer climates. Man…one of these years I need to find a way to do that but with kids to get on and off of busses and a wife that works it may not be anytime soon. But seriously guys and gals, have fun and be safe!

We’re back with more good stuff today including a way for you to get up to speed on the most grueling racing series on the planet. Marc Johnson tells me how he found a ride in a TQ Midget for this weekend’s big races in Albany.
Travis Smith talks about his move up to Modified for 2018 and how he bowled back to back 300's.

We had a snow day for the kids on Wednesday even though we only had about four to five inches of snow. I was a little surprised but the kids didn’t mind it at all. After snowblowing the driveway I took a drive to do some errands as I do still love driving around town in the snow. Not so happy on the Thruway in the snow with all the crazies who think they can drive but I love driving the snowy roads around town.

I got some work done in the studio and was able to get ahead by a day heading into a busy race weekend. We’ve got a lot to keep our eyes on this weekend and I hope your favorite form of racing is on track and I hope you get to see it and maybe even be a part of it. Have fun and be safe guys and gals.

Now let’s chat more about what we have for you today on the Audio Page including a follow up with a driver who was offered a ride just hours after we spoke with him last week.
