I’ll be doing some work today after the family day on Thursday and I can’t wait to get back in the studio chatting again and seeing what is going on with all of you. I’m missing seeing you all but know that the next two weekends will be lots of fun.

Allie is still in basketball try-outs after making it through the first two days. There was no guarantee that she would make it to day three but here she is. Keep your fingers crossed as she hopes to make the JV team at a very, very big high school.

I’ll be in Auburn on Saturday helping out the with Syracuse Microd Club banquet and boy will I miss these dedicated people. The last two years racing with the Kuleszos has been amazing and we’ve learned so much. We now look ahead to the future and hope we can get back in the 75 car a few more times.

Today I have some writing to do in the afternoon and then I’ll be out in Weedsport to be the guest host on Inside the Hall as we chat with Dave Farney and Dean Reynolds. Should be lots of fun. Stop by and see us as we go live at 8 p.m. tonight.

Tomorrow I have more good stuff for you as we will continue to re-hash this past weekend and talk about the season that was and how the racing was down in North Carolina. I have bowling tonight as I still try to figure out how to score on dry lane conditions. I watched the pros over the weekend and noticed a few things that should help.

Pete Stefanski talked about his Racer’s Climb and how he worked his way from go karts at age 20.

Another work week is upon us and I’ll be working on some things that week that will limit my time to get interviews done. I will get done what I can but this has to take a back seat this week.

I am going to get some Season in Reviews done and some of the usual stuff so there will still be stuff to listen to every day as the off season is now fully in place after Charlotte.

We wish all you racers all the best. My respect level continues to rise for all of you and I hope your off season goes well, hope you can get your work done efficiently and without too much cost in both money and time. Before we know it we will be suiting up again so enjoy some extra time with your family and friends as we take a pause to relax and catch up on life away from racing.

And I also began that new series of interviews I am calling The Climb with one of the biggest names in the sport. I think you’ll like it and want more.

Today I will be back in the studio again and may actually go out again tonight to see a band, shoot some pool and have a cold one or two. That I have not done at a club in over a year so it will be fun. I need to blow off some steam and tonight sounds as good a night as any to do so.
