New on the Audio Page for today:

Mike Mahaney talks about his new ride for 2019 and describes the work he is doing in the shop.
Earl Krause previews this weekend’s Motorsports 2019 taking place this Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

I got a lot done on Wednesday ahead of what will be a busy day for us away from racing. And don’t forget about Motorsports 2019 this weekend in Oaks, Pennsylvania where I hear the weather will be nothing like it will be here in Central New York so head out tomorrow to get there early and see the show.

We’re bracing for the snow this weekend which for us could be as much as two feet or as little as one foot. So I’ll be making sure we have fuel for the snowblower and anything else we need just in case the power were to go out. That’s what a gas fireplace comes in real handy. We hope al of you are ready and will be fine this weekend as we sit snowed in

Now let’s chat more about what is new on the Audio Page starting with a driver who is busy learning where things are in the new race shop with his new team. Mike Mahaney talks about his new ride for 2019, describes the work he is doing in the shop to get the cars ready and what he has been doing to get himself ready for the season as well.

Earl Krause previews this weekend’s Motorsports 2019 taking place this Friday, Saturday & Sunday, describes the highlights for each day as well as how much he enjoys doing some announcing at the event.

New on the Audio Page for today:

Sean Corr tells me about his practice laps at Daytona and his hopes for the ARCA race in February.
Ernie Saxton and I chat about early season racing and wonder about the future of big crowds.

I was busy again on Tuesday and decided not to take a day off this week but rather just to keep plugging along. I did both these chats in the late afternoon and will be very busy today as there is lots to write and talk about this week.

This is going to be a fun weekend for a lot of people as not only are they racing in Oklahoma in the Chili Bowl but Motorsports 2019 is this weekend in Oaks, Pennsylvania. There will be a lot of news that will come out from this weekend and a lot of iron on display that you will see later this year at your favorite track so get your butts out of the house and you’ll still have time to watch the A-Main Saturday night.

Now let’s chat more about what we have for you on the Audio Page starting with a man who is smiling right about now after his first laps of the season. Sean Corr tells me about his practice laps at Daytona this past Friday & Saturday, how happy he was with his rebuilt racecar and his hopes for the ARCA race on February 9th.

Ernie Saxton and I chat about early season racing, remind everyone about Motorsports 2019 and we both wonder about the future of big crowds as well as whether they are needed for the bottom line.

Brandon Kidd talks about his upcoming road course race in Daytona and how racing local helped.
Tony Veneziano reports on Sprint Car racing from Australia and previews this week’s Chili Bowl.

I had a nice day on Monday as I did some writing in the afternoon and then did another interview for the website before settling in to watch some basketball with Allie as we do that almost every day. Yeah, she has slid right from racing into basketball and that’s just fine with me. Her first scrimmage with her team is on Thursday at LeMoyne College.

I have some cool things on my to do list for today as I am off from bowling due to the knee injury I had last week. We’re getting better but are not quite there yet. It stinks getting old ya know.

Now let’s chat more about what we have on the Audio Page for today starting with a conversation I had in the city with a young man who will be doing something very cool next Friday at one of the premier racetracks in the world. Brandon Kidd talks about his upcoming road course race in Daytona next Friday, how he did in the four races he ran on the series last year and how racing local helped his skill set.

I had a nice day as Allie and I watched the SU women’s basketball team ahead of Allie’s first scrimmage with her new team this Thursday. And I even snuck in some football between chats and we had a really nice day.

I’ll be busy today with lots to write and lots to talk about. I have several things set up so we’ll see how we do on what should be a very busy Monday. Knee is still tweaked a little so we’ll see about bowling tomorrow night. It could be a game day call there.

Tim McCreadie talks about his ride for this week 's Chili Bowl and a change with his Late Model team.
Ryan Odasz tells me how he is getting back to racing weekly this season after a few starts in ’17 & ’18.

We spent most of the day with friends, family and neighbors as we celebrated the life of Dean Barney. He died after a long illness but was somehow able to walk his granddaughter down the aisle just two weeks ago. He was a hard working, giving and thoughtful man who will be truly missed by so many. Rest in Peace Dean now that your suffering is over and I hope to see you again someday.

Before we went to the services and the get together afterwards I was able to get one interview done and that one leads us off today. I’ll be very busy today as I need to load up on stuff so if you have a request send it to me and if you’re a driver who wants to chat send me a message.

C.G. Morey talks about his crash during Eastern States and thanks everyone who sent him well wishes.
Adam DelGrosso remembers his 13 win season in 2018 and talks about bringing the same car back.

It was a cold one on Friday so I was happy to stay inside and get some work done here in the studio. Both the interviews that are up today were recorded on Friday so enjoy the new stuff as you listen.

I have a funeral and a wake to go to today as one of our neighbors passed away after a long battle with cancer. It will be a sad day and I am not sure if I will get into the studio or not. But I do have an extra interview I did yesterday that I can put up so we will have new stuff for you tomorrow one way or another.

Now let’s chat more about what’s new on the Audio Page beginning with a man who we thought might have suffered a life altering injury…fortunately he did not! C.G. Morey talks about his crash during Eastern States, explains why it wasn’t as bad as initially reported and thanks everyone who sent him well wishes while he was at the hospital and recovering.

New on the Audio Page for today:

Max McLaughlin tells me about his ride with the K&N East Series and the work he did on Thursday.
Peter Britten talks about adjusting to snowy Central New York and his plans to race Fridays in 2019.

Big news for our area came out on Thursday and we have the young man at the center of that news leading us off today. We are so happy to see one of our getting this wonderful opportunity and you’ll hear in the clip how it came about as well as the work he is doing right now as he learns a totally different type of car. Congrats Max!

We had a snow day here on Thursday as a heavy band of lake effect hit our area dropping anywhere from 6-12 inches of white stuff, depending where you are. But as always the case around here, by 11 a.m. the roads were wet and clear. Way to go plow operators.

Now let’s chat about what is new on the Audio Page for today as both of these offerings were recorded on Thursday after we cleared the driveway. Max McLaughlin tells me about his ride with the K&N East Series for this coming season, how the deal came about and the work he did on his racecar on Thursday in North Carolina.

Peter Britten talks about adjusting to snowy Central New York after coming her from Australia back in 2010, how his back is doing right now and his plans to race his own car on Fridays in 2019.
