New on the Audio Page for today:

Ronnie Davis won the second Modified heat race and talked about how much the track changed.
Tommy Sears joked with his nephew and told me how good he was in his modified heat victory.
Chris Hile led some laps before finishing second in his heat and explained why everyone was tight.
Kenny Polite made a late race pass to get 1st and spoke about his Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour win.
Scott Gauthier made it two in a row on the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour and talked about his racecar.
Chris Hile celebrated in victory lane after earning his first Modified win of the season at Brewerton.
Jimmy Phelps explained why a late race caution did not help and how that made him settle for 2nd.
Tommy Sears picked up 12 spots to finish in 3rd and talked about what happened on the late restart.
Alan Fink won the very first Sportsman feature of the night and spoke about some recent struggles.
Ryan Dolbear pulled off a shocker to win his Sportsman feature and explained why he needed help.

It was quite the night at Brewerton Speedway as the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour visited the track for the first time. I think we did a pretty good job and we have a nice field of 24 cars on hand. And with no weather in the area we did not have to rush as we have at every other show we've been at this year. I'll be at Fulton Speedway later today with the DMNT and yes, Allie will be there too. More on that later.

Chris Hile won the Modified feature race and held off Jimmy Phelps and Tommy Sears after a late race yellow to win his first of the season. After a dry start to the night in hot laps they watered the track and it turned out fantastic. Very little dust and three race lanes amde for quite the race night.

Nice story in the Sportsman as Fulton Speedway Novice Sportsman regular Ryan Dolbear won his first race at Brewerton and did so in convincing fashion. Go back and search him on my Audio Page to see what makes this so special. We're so happy for you Ryan and hope it is just the first of many.

As for Allie, she was slow in her heat but thanks to come encouragement from her former Microd Teammate she was much better in the feature and ran her best race so far with the DMNT finishing 8th out of 10 cars. She even made her first competitive pass and was right there for most of the race. Now she can't wait to go again today as we are set for Fulton tonight.

A big thanks to everyone with the DMNT especially car owners Derrick Flynn and Pete Stapper who trusted her ability enought to give this a shot and thanks to Jeff Ciglich for helping to set this up. We know it's a long road that will have some bumps in it but we are so happy to have a nice night at the track. Thank you.

Come back tomorrow as we'll have more and please come out and see us or support your local racetrack tonight. You can record the stuff on TV so see some racing live tonight. That's my homework assignment for you.

New on the Audio Page for today:

Vern Lafave tells me how he is recovering from burns sustained in a crash at Oswego Speedway.
Doug Heveron shares some racing memories and explains why he does not drink strawberry shakes.
Billy VanInwegen describes his season so far as he has won in both Sprint Cars and Dirt Modifieds.

We had a nice day on Thursday as the big storms that were predicted stayed to the north for the most pasrt. We had a few rumbles later in the day and as I look at the radar at 8:38 p.m. I can see a few things may hit us before the night is over. That's fine with me as I love a late night thunderstorm and today should be just fine as only a few early morning showers are in the forecast.

I have some really good ones up today as I visit with a man who alot of us have been thinking about and praying for these last few weeks. Good news is that he is doing fine and may even be back to the track suited up somewhere down the road. And I catch up with a fellow Liverpool High Schooler from back in the 70's. I did not know Doug in high school but we traveled in the same circles afterwards. And any and all stories from that time are firmly denied even though they may or may not be true. Hey, it was the 70's man so cut us some slack!

We're excited as the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour is set to roll into Brewerton Speedway tonight and Fulton Speedway tomorrow. Allie has been going to these tracks for over a decade and she can't wait to see what they look like from on the surface. It's gonna be a fun day. Now don't expect too much as she is still learning but she will improve and if what happened before with the Microd happens here she'll be fine in 2020.

Now let's chat more about what is new on the Audio Page beginning with a man who is truly happy to be with us here today. Vern Lafave tells me how he is recovering from burns sustained in a crash three weeks ago at Oswego Speedway, explains what went wrong and wonders if he may race again soon. So happy you are doing well Vern and we hope you are back to 100% soon.

Doug Heveron shares some racing memories from extensive past, tells mhat he is doing these days in sunny Florida and explains why he does not drink strawberry milk shakes anymore. Good one here!

Billy VanInwegen describes his season so far as he has won in both Sprint Cars and Dirt Modifieds, remembers the start to Speedweeks at Can Am and gives himself a letter grade on his season while his dad adds a few comments.

New on the Audio Page for today:

Tommy Sears tells me how he came from thirteenth to first at Brewerton and his 10th place in Fulton.
Jack Lehner talked about seeing Canandaigua for the 1st time and compared it to another half mile.
Mike Button speaks about his recent Sportsman win and why he does not stress out about lap times.

It was a hot one on Wednesday and it sounds like today and tomorrow things will cool off a little. But the good news is that today's weather will be gone for tomorrow and rain is not even mentioned for Friday and Saturday. Yay!

Our plans changed as Dwight Nichols had trouble getting to the track due to a screw in his tire so we were unable to get in any laps last night but are hopeful to get some next week. We thank Dwight so much for thinking of us and we hope the rest of your day on Wednesday went well. Thanks for thinking of us Dwight!!!

So with that Allie got busy in the driveway shooting baskets as the Liverpool Girls Basketball Camp is coming up in a few weeks. I remember last year she picked up her first win with the Syracuse Microd Club during that camp so hopefully the good feeligs she gets from that will help her racing.

Now let's chat more about what's new on the Audio Page for today starting with a winner from this past weekend. Tommy Sears tells me how he came from thirteenth to first at Brewerton last Friday, wonders how important it is to have a new chassis when running a big block and described his 10th place in Fulton.

Jack Lehner talked about seeing Canandaigua for the 1st time while comparing it to another half mile, described the biggest problem he has been working on and comments on some one way radio chatter.

Mike Button tells me how surprised he was at his recent win at Fulton Speedway, why he does not stress over lap times and the financial realities of Sporsman versus Modified.

New on the Audio Page for today:

Eldon Payne Jr.
told me how he won his first career Modified race last Friday at Outlaw Speedway.
Ryan Krachun talked about his first impressions of Fonda Speedway and compared it to another.
Megan Ciglich spoke about her season so far with the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour and this weekend.

It was another hot one on Tuesday and I got a lot of work done around the house, did some interviews in the air conditioned studio and finished the day with a swim in the pool. We were so worried we were not going to get much use out of it but these last few weeks made us fell good that we have it. Ahhh...

I got some extra work done too and I'll have some of that up tomorrow as well as a few clips from Paradise Speedway as we are going there tonight to get Allie some extra practice. And I know some of you who are coming too so please say hi and I hope your night is a productive one.

Alot of you are missing out on this as it is a great way to get much needed seat time or track down an issue you may be having with your car. Everyone knows laps are tough to get in dirt racing so for just $15 for the driver you can come out and get a bunch of laps in. We got four sessions last time we were there and it helped alot. Gates open today at 5 and hot laps run from 6-9 p.m. Maybe we'll see you there!

Now let's chat more about what's on the Audio Page for today starting out with a first time Modified feature winner wh saw it all come together this past weekend. Eldon Payne Jr. told me how he won his first career Modified race last Friday night at Outlaw Speedway, how close he came to running out of fuel in the caution filled feature and remembers some other times that he came close to that elusive victory.

Ryan Krachun talked about his first impressions of Fonda Speedway and compared it to another famour track that he wishes he would have raced at and explained how he researched the facility as well as what his letter grade would be on his season so far.

Megan Ciglich spoke about her season so far with the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour, explains why things are going much better behind the wheel and looks forward to this weekend's shows at Brewerton and Fulton Speedways.

Jeremy Dygert tells me how he came from a DNQ last Thursday to a 358 win at Fulton on Saturday.
J. J. Courcy tells me how he won his first career Sportsman race and the tough luck the next night.
Tony Veneziano reports on the World of Outlaws Sprints as they visited South Dakota and Wisconsin.

We're back today with three drivers who were smiling after recent victories as well as our Tuesday look in with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Three of the chats are fresh from the studio and I'll be getting more done today as I already have a few things set up.

It's gonna be a great couple of days so be sure to get out and enjoy them as summer is finally here and behaving like summer should. The forecast for the weekend looks good too so keep working on those racecars boys and girls as fun on the track requires a lot of hard work at the shop. Hope it goes well and hope to see you all this weekend.

Now let's chat more about what is new for today on the Audio Page starting with your ESS Speedweek champion after race number one. Paulie Colagiovanni talks about his ESS A-Main win at Can Am last Wednesday, explains when he started to notice the track taking rubber and gives himself a letter grade on his season so far.

J. J. Courcy tells me how he won his first career Sportsman race this past Friday night at Brewerton Speedway, the tough luck he had the next night at Fulton and wonders wjhat he'll have to do to get back on the track soon.

Tony Veneziano reports on the World of Outlaws Sprints as they visited South Dakota and Wisconsin, explains how the point lead grew & shrunk on the same day and looks ahead to the next two races on thr tour.

Stewart Friesen recaps his most recent race with the truck and talks about being a little too tight.
Matt DeLorenzo remembered his win at Albany Saratoga last Friday and getting back to race Fonda.
Jimmy Phelps runs down what happens next in Weedsport as Flat Track Motorcycles race Saturday.
Rusty Smith brought his R2 to Land of Legends and spoke about gaining a little in his last few races.

Sorry about the missing content on Sunday. It was a server issue and something that has not happened in years so I looked in other places to see what went wrong when it wqas really something very basic. I'm kicking myself now as I did figure it out till later in the day on Sunday but if it happens again I know what to do. Darn it...sorry.

But we're back today and will be working hard later on as I need to load up this week as we have a very busy weekend with races for Allie on Friday at Brewerton and Saturday at Fulton. These are two tracks she has been looking forward to for a while and the drivers on the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour are looking ahead too as we should have enough cars this weekend to run two features. Yay!

Now let's chat more about what is on the Audio Page for today starting with chats from last Wednesday night at Fonda. Jimmy Phelps runs down what happens next in Weedsport as Flat Track Motorcycles race Saturday, what happens the night before for people who ride on two wheels and how the series race was in Plattsburgh the previous weekend.

Stewart Friesen recaps his most recent race with the NASCAR truck series and talks about being a little too tight in the race as well as what it is like racing in the same event as his wife Jessica.

Matt DeLorenzo remembered his win at Albany Saratoga last Friday and getting back to race at Fonda last Wednesday night whlle comparing what made that night different than others at this track he knows well.

Rusty Smith brought his R2 to Land of Legends from Pennsylvania and spoke about gaining a little in his last few races while reflecting on how much has changed in the time he has been a dirt racer.
