I had a nice day as Allie and I watched the SU women’s basketball team ahead of Allie’s first scrimmage with her new team this Thursday. And I even snuck in some football between chats and we had a really nice day.

I’ll be busy today with lots to write and lots to talk about. I have several things set up so we’ll see how we do on what should be a very busy Monday. Knee is still tweaked a little so we’ll see about bowling tomorrow night. It could be a game day call there.

Now let’s chat more about what is new on the Audio Page for today as we have a couple of really good ones up for you including someone new to the site. Tommy Collins remembers his start in a Four Cylinder Modified at Five Mile Point, talks about his brief career on two wheels and runs down his 2019 race plans.

Tim McCreadie talks about his ride for this week 's Chili Bowl and a change with his Late Model team.
Ryan Odasz tells me how he is getting back to racing weekly this season after a few starts in ’17 & ’18.

We spent most of the day with friends, family and neighbors as we celebrated the life of Dean Barney. He died after a long illness but was somehow able to walk his granddaughter down the aisle just two weeks ago. He was a hard working, giving and thoughtful man who will be truly missed by so many. Rest in Peace Dean now that your suffering is over and I hope to see you again someday.

Before we went to the services and the get together afterwards I was able to get one interview done and that one leads us off today. I’ll be very busy today as I need to load up on stuff so if you have a request send it to me and if you’re a driver who wants to chat send me a message.

Now let’s talk in more detail about what we have for you on the Audio Page starting with one of own who hopes to have a great week in Tulsa. Tim McCreadie talks about his hopes going into the Chili Bowl, explains what the big attraction is to this first big national race of the season and a change with his Late Model team.

Ryan Odasz tells me how he is getting back to racing weekly this season at Fonda Speedway, how he did in a few starts this past few seasons and how excited he is to get back on the track in a car he really likes.

Adam DelGrosso remembers his 13 win season in 2018 and talks about bringing the same car back.

It was a cold one on Friday so I was happy to stay inside and get some work done here in the studio. Both the interviews that are up today were recorded on Friday so enjoy the new stuff as you listen.

I have a funeral and a wake to go to today as one of our neighbors passed away after a long battle with cancer. It will be a sad day and I am not sure if I will get into the studio or not. But I do have an extra interview I did yesterday that I can put up so we will have new stuff for you tomorrow one way or another.

New on the Audio Page for today:

Max McLaughlin tells me about his ride with the K&N East Series and the work he did on Thursday.
Peter Britten talks about adjusting to snowy Central New York and his plans to race Fridays in 2019.

Big news for our area came out on Thursday and we have the young man at the center of that news leading us off today. We are so happy to see one of our getting this wonderful opportunity and you’ll hear in the clip how it came about as well as the work he is doing right now as he learns a totally different type of car. Congrats Max!

We had a snow day here on Thursday as a heavy band of lake effect hit our area dropping anywhere from 6-12 inches of white stuff, depending where you are. But as always the case around here, by 11 a.m. the roads were wet and clear. Way to go plow operators.

Now let’s chat about what is new on the Audio Page for today as both of these offerings were recorded on Thursday after we cleared the driveway. Ryan Flores tells me about his win on Saturday in Allentown and his full time job with Penske Racing.
Pete Bicknell previews the Bicknell racing Products Open House on Saturday and how the day will go.

Well the say the snow is going to be back today and we could end up with as little as four inches and as much as ten before it stops sometime this morning. Of course it is lake effect so it is really anybody’s guess as to how much will fall so we’ll just wait and see I guess although I think my wife and daughters are already planning on a snow day.

We have a nice mix up today as well as a first time chat with one of the best indoor TQ Midget racers in the northeast who once again is fresh off a win this past weekend. It’s a real nice chat that I know you’ll like so be sure to give it a listen.

And we’ll have another new story up on Syracuse.com today as well talking about some recent news here in the northeast Modified world Look for that online and feel free to share.

Erick Rudolph told me about his two top five finishes in Allentown and his next few race starts.
Billy VanPelt and Isabel Barron talk about teaming up this year at Woodhull and describe their goals.

I had a nice easy day on Tuesday as I did a little writing for another project during the afternoon before heading out to the bowling alley later to begin the second half of our season. We are usually a second half team and have won it each of the last three years so we are hoping that history repeats itself.

I’ll be back in the studio again today and back writing again as well so be sure to check me out online as well. There is a pause this weekend for the most part before things heat up again the following weekend so I should be able to get a lot done.

It was a cold one on Monday as we were all shivering at the bus stop in the morning. The day went smoothly, I was able to get some writing done and was able to get some work done in the studio afterwards.

Today we’re all about racing action from this past weekend and tomorrow we’ll visit with another top finisher from Allentown and meet a pair of drivers who are t eaming up this year at Woodhull Raceway. One with a ton of laps there and one with just a handful so come back for that and more.
