C.G. Morey talks about his crash during Eastern States and thanks everyone who sent him well wishes.
Adam DelGrosso remembers his 13 win season in 2018 and talks about bringing the same car back.

It was a cold one on Friday so I was happy to stay inside and get some work done here in the studio. Both the interviews that are up today were recorded on Friday so enjoy the new stuff as you listen.

I have a funeral and a wake to go to today as one of our neighbors passed away after a long battle with cancer. It will be a sad day and I am not sure if I will get into the studio or not. But I do have an extra interview I did yesterday that I can put up so we will have new stuff for you tomorrow one way or another.

Now let’s chat more about what’s new on the Audio Page beginning with a man who we thought might have suffered a life altering injury…fortunately he did not! C.G. Morey talks about his crash during Eastern States, explains why it wasn’t as bad as initially reported and thanks everyone who sent him well wishes while he was at the hospital and recovering.

Max McLaughlin tells me about his ride with the K&N East Series and the work he did on Thursday.
Peter Britten talks about adjusting to snowy Central New York and his plans to race Fridays in 2019.

Big news for our area came out on Thursday and we have the young man at the center of that news leading us off today. We are so happy to see one of our getting this wonderful opportunity and you’ll hear in the clip how it came about as well as the work he is doing right now as he learns a totally different type of car. Congrats Max!

We had a snow day here on Thursday as a heavy band of lake effect hit our area dropping anywhere from 6-12 inches of white stuff, depending where you are. But as always the case around here, by 11 a.m. the roads were wet and clear. Way to go plow operators.

Now let’s chat about what is new on the Audio Page for today as both of these offerings were recorded on Thursday after we cleared the driveway. Ryan Flores tells me about his win on Saturday in Allentown and his full time job with Penske Racing.
Pete Bicknell previews the Bicknell racing Products Open House on Saturday and how the day will go.

Well the say the snow is going to be back today and we could end up with as little as four inches and as much as ten before it stops sometime this morning. Of course it is lake effect so it is really anybody’s guess as to how much will fall so we’ll just wait and see I guess although I think my wife and daughters are already planning on a snow day.

We have a nice mix up today as well as a first time chat with one of the best indoor TQ Midget racers in the northeast who once again is fresh off a win this past weekend. It’s a real nice chat that I know you’ll like so be sure to give it a listen.

And we’ll have another new story up on Syracuse.com today as well talking about some recent news here in the northeast Modified world Look for that online and feel free to share.

Erick Rudolph told me about his two top five finishes in Allentown and his next few race starts.
Billy VanPelt and Isabel Barron talk about teaming up this year at Woodhull and describe their goals.

I had a nice easy day on Tuesday as I did a little writing for another project during the afternoon before heading out to the bowling alley later to begin the second half of our season. We are usually a second half team and have won it each of the last three years so we are hoping that history repeats itself.

I’ll be back in the studio again today and back writing again as well so be sure to check me out online as well. There is a pause this weekend for the most part before things heat up again the following weekend so I should be able to get a lot done.

Now let’s chat more about what we have for you on the Audio Page beginning with a racer who is coming off a nice weekend in Pennsylvania. It was a cold one on Monday as we were all shivering at the bus stop in the morning. The day went smoothly, I was able to get some writing done and was able to get some work done in the studio afterwards.

Today we’re all about racing action from this past weekend and tomorrow we’ll visit with another top finisher from Allentown and meet a pair of drivers who are t eaming up this year at Woodhull Raceway. One with a ton of laps there and one with just a handful so come back for that and more.

I’ll be doing some writing today for Syracuse.com as we’ll recap some of what happened this past weekend in the world of racing as we’ll be including some stuff from overseas as well as many of this countries best Sprint Car drivers were in Australia and New Zealand. Michael Parent talks about his last few seasons in a 358 Modified and why he stopped racing Sprints.
Jim Olin tells me about his weekly show Inside the Hall and previews Finger Lakes Speedworld.

I had a nice day on Saturday as I started out watching the SU men’s basketball team beat Notre Dame with Allie and yes, their win got our day off to a happy start. In between football games and basketball games I was able to get some work done and one of the chats I did is up today.

I’ll be in the studio for most of the day today and already have a few things set up and will be looking to do even more. I’ll get in the studio in the late afternoon and continue into early evening as that does seem to be the best time to try people on the phone. So be sure to come back tomorrow to see who we get.
