New on the Audio Page for today:

Glenn Forward talks about a chassis change and analyzes what he did last year with tire prep.
Tony Veneziano reports on the King of the 360’s from East Bay and previews the next WoO races.

I’ve been hurting here the last few days and finally on Monday I reached out to a friend who gave some very specific things to do to feel better. I work up with a crick in my neck last Tuesday, thought bowling might help and that only made things worse. Since then it’s gotten worse by the day and I am on no sleep right now at all. Hopefully my sore neck and shoulder gets better soon and I can get back to a normal life. Ugh! And thanks Hulk for the advice!

I’ll be in the studio today but not on the lanes as I need to take some time off till I get better. I’ll try a few names from Florida today and I also have some other calls out as well so we’ll be good to go tomorrow one way or another. And hopefully I’ll get some much needed sleep here too!

Now let’s chat more about what is new on the Audio Page for today beginning with a Modified driver getting ready for his second season in the class. Glenn Forward talks about a chassis change for 2019, explains why that means a switch in bolt on parts too and analyzes what he did wrong last year with tire prep.

What a nice day it was on Saturday as I got a lot of work done and was also able to visit with a friend as well. It was fun and I was able to get ahead by two days now as we will take today to watch the race and maybe add some more chats to the can after that.

I hope you all are doing well and I hope today is a fun day as Saturday’s race from the big track was a bit of a snoozer after a wild race on Friday night. And be sure to search YouTube as there are some highlights from Volusia that you’re gonna really like. Reminds me why we love dirt so much.

I have two good one for you today and will be in the studio for most of the day hoping to get ahead so I can watch the 500 tomorrow without having to worry about work. As I type this up we are just getting ready to sit down and watch the trucks in what is usually the best race of Speedweeks. A big shout out to our Dirt Modified racers Stewart Friesen and Tyler Dippel and we hope they have a great night.

I was lucky as I was able to find a few people to talk with on Valentine’s Day as I don’t like doing cold calls on holidays especially this one. So big thanks to JJ and Dan for making time for me on Thursday.

It’s gonna be a fun weekend with racing on the big track at Daytona and later tonight we’ll get to see two of our own from the Northeast with Stewie and Tyler Dippel both getting to race there later tonight. And how about Dippel? He was 6th fastest in practice. Not bad huh?

New on the Audio Page for today:

Kyle Inman talks about his Sportsman win in Florida and the work he is doing with his coil suspension.
C.D. Beauchamp remembered his Pro Stock win at Super DIRT Week and his racing background.

I had a busy day on Wednesday as we were running around all night long with the kids as both had activities. You guys who have busy kids know how it goes. I only had a small window to get stuff done so I missed a few calls when we were on the road. I’ll do my best to get to them today!

It was quite a storm out here as it lingered on into a delay for the schools and made for a tough morning commute and that was after a significant amount of time just getting the ice off of the cars. I tried to snowblow the driveway but it could not get under the ice so I had to pay someone to plow it and even he could not get by the ice at the top. Tough day.

I hope you all have a nice Thursday and a special shout out to all of you who will be spending Valentine’s Day with your special someone...whoever that might be!

Kim Duell runs down his Pro Stock plans for the year and explains why he builds his own racecars.
Bobby Flood tells me about his win at North Florida Speedway and how the other race nights went.
Tony Kamburelis talks about his racing history and the Champlain Valley Vintage Dirt Modifieds.

I had a good day on Tuesday as the kids and my wife all had snow days. The snow started at about 10 and the ice and sleet followed. It’s a mess out there and the driving was pretty tricky last night but we’re all good here.

Bowling went alright as it was a tough shot and all the people who hooked the ball were having trouble, myself included. I shot 579 but could not string strikes and continued to have issues with left side spares. I remember when the ten pin was my deepest fear…not anymore. Now it’s for 4 pin! I know…right?

Now let’s chat more about what we have for you today on the Audio Page starting with a racer who has been a mainstay at Super DIRT Week for years now. Tony Kamburelis talks about his family’s history in racing, his job with the Champlain Valley Vintage Dirt Modifieds and they two cars he hopes to have on the track this season.
