Boy did winter hit us hard here in Central New York. Some places got as much as two feet and we were just under that with about 19-20 inches of snow with more expected by the time you read this Tuesday morning. I hope the weather didn’t mess you al up too much and I hope your kids enjoyed the day off they got on Monday.

I got a lot done and will probably work a little today before taking a mini vacation through Sunday. But I will be back at it this weekend and already have some things set up for Sunday. Today I have some things from the weekend that I hope you enjoy.

Now let’s chat more about what we have on the Audio Page starting with a driver who has something new in the works for next season. Tim Fuller thanks car owner Dave Rauscher for two years of fun, looks ahead to a new deal for 2016 and told me when he met the Graham family as well as what their tentative plan is.

Shawn Reimert explained why he retired as a driver, why he came all the way up from Pennsylvania to Parts Peddler and the fun he is having going racing with his son.

Tommy Sears talked about his one win season in a Modified in Central New York, how tough it is to win at Fulton and how his race shop looks right now.

John Walker tells me why Airborne Park Speedway is putting clay down for next season, why he felt it was important to come to Syracuse to talk to racers and what reaction she has been getting.

Tom Deery celebrates at the DIRTcar banquet and talked about their three top divisions including DIRTcar Modifieds, World of Outlaw Sprints and Late Models.

Joe Beyea had his header business at the show and told me who was looking at his stuff.
Corky Stockham described how everything went at this year’s Parts Peddler Trade Show.
Jeremy Warren reviewed his 2016 season in a Four Cylinder down in the Southern Tier.

It was the first snowy day of the season here in Central New York and it helped clear out the Parts peddler Auction & Trade Show early. By the time I got there it was darned near empty but I still managed to find a few people to talk to and all four of those chats are up today as well as a Season in Review I did last week.

It will now be an easy week for me as I have a lot to do just like a lot of you. Expect at least five new chats every day through Sunday as we are loaded up here at the home studio. I have a few calls to make today and I plan on updating the site through Sunday so I can focus on some other things this week.

Now let’s chat more about what we have on the Audio Page for you to enjoy today. Mike Mahaney talked about his 2016 season, how driving a Sprint helps him drive his Modified better and why he had sneakers on at the DIRTcar banquet.

Jeffrey Cardinale describes his IMCA Modified season and how good he was late in the year.
Corky Stockham reacts to Saturday at Parts Peddler and reminds everyone to stop back today.

I had another great day as I started things out at the Parts Peddler show in the afternoon, stayed until dinner time and them went home and picked up my wife Camille and then headed to the DIRTcar banquet which was conveniently just a few minutes from my house. I knew Liverpool is a great place to live!

I had so much fun at the show first meeting up with people, some of which I hadn’t seen in a while. We got a lot of interviews recorded and were able to put another 15 in the can to bring the total to 32. I will be back at the show today and will try to get as many as I can before the gates close. Today the Parts Peddler show runs from 10-4 p.m.

Shane Andrews was great hosting the DIRTcar banquet and it started out great with a skit on what would happen if football referee Dave Farney got confused at the racetrack about which sport he was officiating. It was classic and drew a huge response from the great looking crowd on hand. We had a great time and met some new people at our table. It could not have gone better.

As I have said on many occasions, I am so happy and so blessed right now. And seeing all of you at events like we’ve had this weekend makes me feel even better. I love telling your stories and being a part of your world. Thank so much guys for inviting me in and making me feel more than welcome.

Now let’s chat more about what we have for you today on the Audio Page starting with some drivers you know very well. Hear from the top ten drivers in the Super DIRTcar Series in this right from the banquet clip. Sit back, relax and enjoy this one and media people…here are your quotes right here!

Shane Pecore speaks to the crowd after his Sportsman Super DIRTcar Series championship and what it took to beat the big fields that are common at racetracks all around.

Joecelyn Roy dances on stage after winning the Pro Stock Super DIRTcar Series championship. Some really nice moments in this clip and racers, that’s how you thank your wife.

Max McLaughlin tells me about his rookie season and the fun he had learning to drive a big block Modified and the other really cool thing he got to drive recently. I’ve heard those things are a ball!

Jack Miller recapped his season driving an open motor Sportsman at Utica Rome, wonders about the future of the class and comments on the clean racing he is a part of on Sundays.

Jeffrey Cardinale describes his IMCA Modified season at Skyline Raceway, how good he was late in the year and why he likes the type of racecar he drives so much.

Corky Stockham reacts to Saturday at Parts Peddler, the wild auction that took place Saturday afternoon and reminds everyone to stop back today.

I had a fun night and afternoon at Parts Peddler as I talked to a lot of folks and got a lot of interviews done. Today is going to be such fun and I cannot wait.
