(1:44) Daryl Hilkert qualified fourth in his group at Rolling Wheels and told me how happy he was with the way his Sportsman got around the track. He explained why he was not going to change anything before the heat race, where he will race in the next few weeks and how much he is looking forward to a return to Syracuse.

(1:58) Daryl Hilkert was posing in front of his hauler without knowing it when I took a picture of him and stopped by to see how he was doing so far at the Fulton Speedway on Friday night. He talked about the nice draw he had for his heat race, described how the car felt in hot laps and ran down his plans to hit the mile in Syracuse this week. |

(19:45) Daryl Hilkert talked to me about his rookie season in a DIRT Sportsman car at the Canandaigua Speedway. He told me how a brake problem led to a handing issue and what they had to do to fix it and get the car loose again. I also found out how much work it took during the week to keep the car on the track and how a bad crash really set them back towards the end of the season. He also chatted about his five years in a Pro Stock and why he made the move up to Sportsman. He finished up by talking about his crate engine program for next year and why he sees this as the wave of the future. |
